Octavia (Gungnir)
If the Altered faction’s new Tank hero looks familiar to you, you’re not alone. Octavia strikes a chord for many who encounter her on the battlefield. Unfortunately, her own memory dates back no further than the Gungnir labs. In her long-forgotten life, she was formidable, but Astra bulked her up even more, and Ivan hotwired her for extreme damage. They made the mistake of regarding her as a well-trained pet, which gave her the chance to escape. She uses the bloodborne pathogens they gave her to strengthen allies and infect enemies. Above all, she yearns to make Gungnir pay for the life she no longer remembers.

Ivan (Gungnir)
Gungnir adds a high-voltage AOE hero to the squad! Ivan's known Astra since their college days—you might even call them friends. Astra brought Ivan on at Gungnir to explore the possibilities of using electricity to control an undead brain. When Helen escaped, she left Ivan with vicious wounds, so he's been beefing up his tech to prepare for the rematch. His cannon blasts do serious damage, especially to enemies he's already hit with other attacks, because they carry his Shock Collar debuff. His electronic bombs also deliver a shocking impact.

Auto Parts upgrades are visually distinctive at specific levels (Lv1/Lv10/Lv40/Lv70).

Matt (Hive)
The Hive’s new Tank used to be Special Forces, but he remains a force to be reckoned with. Matt wields his axe with power and precision, whether he’s felling foes or blocking blows. Separated from his family during the early days of the apocalypse, all Matt really cares about is finding them so he can bring them into the sanctuary he’s found. In his Army days, Matt sometimes worked with British Special Forces; he may be the only person in the Hive with Sam’s full respect.
Ana(Sugar Reapers)
The Sugar Reapers’ new Melee hero, Ana, barely needs weapons; she is one. A fierce capoeirista on a mission of vengeance, she tracked her target to the United States just in time for the end of the world. A less driven avenging angel might hope the zombies would take care of the problem for her, but Ana knows evil people are sturdier and harder to kill than good ones. She knows her nemesis’ heart still beats, and she will never rest until she puts a stop to it. In the meantime, she’ll put her skills to use with the Sugar Reapers. Some of them are likely evil enough to be on her list themselves, but in the Undead World, it pays to surround yourself with allies who are hard to kill.

Explore an untamed sector in the Undead World to collect valuable, exclusive resources! Visit the Statue for inspiration, the Auto Shop for gear, and the Restaurant for vital vittles. Stop by the Bank for a new kind of Idle Rewards! (unlocks after stage 7-10)
S.M.A.R.T. Lab
At the Academy, the new S.M.A.R.T. Lab lets you buff heroes by combat type. Collect the crucial resources along the Highway and strengthen all your Tank, Melee, Range, AOE, or Support heroes at once! (unlocks after stage 10-30)

Casey is Cady’s kid sister, and they’re lucky to be fighting side by side for the Collegium; you’re in luck too, because they fight very well together! Casey’s a Range fighter just like her big sis. She carries a nail gun into battle, but her real weapons are the turrets she constructs and deploys on the fly. Some last longer than others, but that’s okay, because the short-lived turrets self-destruct, dealing extra damage. Never underestimate a child prodigy with something to fight for.
Realm of Trials
Get to know the new hero when she plays a featured role in our limited-time event! Realm of Trials offers a series of unique challenges and a set of heroes you can choose to face them. The new hero must be deployed in each battle; the other heroes can be deployed once each. Choose wisely! You can reset and start from the beginning to try different strategies for success.
Arena of Valor
A new global PVP arena has opened! Send your top 15 heroes into battle on a level playing field where heroes' stats are pre-selected, battles cannot be manually controlled, and the rules change every season. (Complete stage 8-30 to unlock)

The Altered faction is growing stronger! Welcome the truly tentacular Lynn to your team for serious Support. Her transformations not only physically harm her foes but also cause confusion on the battlefield, turning enemies into temporary allies who will attack any nearby targets regardless of alliance. Her Blood Frenzy skill empowers allies, though it’s not without a cost.
The products offered in the Midtown, Arena, and Dismiss Caravans are getting updated! All Rare heroes will now be available for purchase, as well as high-level resources.
The Reinforce Equipment flow has been updated to add a warning that will appear if a player is about to sacrifice Legendary Equipment.
Less tapping for the same rewards! You can now hit “collect all” to claim all available daily or weekly rewards in the quests feature.

Gung ho for Gungnir? Look out below, and above, and basically all around you, because Luna’s high-tech innovations let her pop up anywhere to fire her plasma beam right through her enemies! She’s a fierce and feisty Range fighter with holograms, teleportation, and laser blasts on tap.
George (Collegium)
The Collegium’s new Melee hero says, “Aloha, brah!” George’s sun-kissed muscles and his massive anchor are souvenirs of his years living on the soft Hawaiian sands and helping make those islands a zombie-free paradise. After his tireless efforts, he still got deported for being technically a beach bum with no proof of residence, but George figures everything happens for a reason. See, underneath that hard body lurks the soft heart of a diehard romantic. Maybe one of the lovely ladies of the Collegium is the special someone George has been waiting for.
Advanced Mercenary
Try out new heroes at a power level based on your own squad! Hired heroes from the Advanced Mercenary feature sync to the average level of your top 5 heroes and auto-equip themselves based on that synced level. They can be used for some features but do not count toward events such as Hero's Journey. At the end of their hired period, they are automatically returned.
Midtown Expert Mode
Expert Mode in Midtown unlocks after completing campaign stage 14-30. In Expert Mode, there is only one area of Midtown to conquer, but it is as rewarding as all three areas combined in normal mode! Rather than zombies, Expert Mode pits your heroes against squads of heroes from each faction.
Skyscraper 3x Battle Speed
You can now move even faster in the Skyscraper! Unlocks at VIP level 7 or after stage 12-30.
Zombie Express Blitz
If you have cleared Zombie Express once so far on a given day, you can Blitz your subsequent battle(s) for the same rewards. Unlocks at VIP level 6 or after stage 10-30.
Novice Arena Blitz
If your squad is strong enough against an opponent’s to unquestionably dominate, you will have the option to Blitz that Novice Arena battle. Rewards are the same for a Blitzed battle as a played battle. Unlocks upon completion of either of the following milestones: Campaign stage 16-40 or VIP level 8.
Raging Rumble Blitz
If your squad is strong enough against an opponent’s to unquestionably dominate, you will have the option to Blitz that Raging Rumble battle. Level 2: Human: -30% DEF to enemies / Zombie: up to 50% damage reduction
Level 3: Human: Effects last 6 seconds / Zombie: Effects last 3.5 seconds

Puts his 'Kill' mark on an enemy, dealing 300% of ATK power and up to 30% damage of max HP in proportion to the enemy's lost HP. Enemies surrounding the target who are bleeding are inflicted by excessive bleeding. Excessive bleeding deals 60% of ATK power every 3 seconds ignoring DEF.
Level 2: Increases to 400% ATK power
Level 3: Increases ATK power for excessive bleeding to 70%
Level 4: Increases to 500% ATK power
RIP OFF:
Attacks with his claws dealing damage of 230% of ATK power to enemies in a straight line and inflicts bleeding. Bleeding deals 20% of ATK power every second for 9 seconds.
Level 2: Increases bleeding damage to 30% of ATK power
Level 3: Increases to 270% ATK power
LETHAL TAG:
Applies a 'Kill' mark to the enemy with the lowest HP within range. The 'Kill' target's ATK power and EVA rate are greatly reduced, and Nils gains SP when attacking.
Anxiety - When Nils deals a killing blow to a marked target, the ATK power and EVA rates of nearby enemies are slightly reduced for 15 seconds. When stacked up to 5 times, ATK power and EVA rates are reduced by 33%.
Level 2: Increases SP gain to 85.
Level 3: At max stack of 'Anxiety', ATK power and EVA rates are reduced by 40%.
HARDCORE:
Level 2: Skill cooldown reduced

Nils slashes enemies in front of him in a straight line, dealing 300% ATK power and inflicting [Bleeding]. [Bleeding] deals 30% ATK power per second for 9 seconds. Enemies take 20% increased damage from Nils' attacks and Nils gains 20% Life Steal for 9 seconds.

LETHAL TAG:

Level 2: Killing a [Slay] target reduces surrounding enemies' ATK power and ACC by 40% at 5 stacks
Level 3: Increases to 45% damage reduction from enemies without [Slay] mark
